In play

Copy as Markdown

Send in_play on a simulation or quote to play the rest of a match on from a state instead of from kick-off.

Live

in_play: "live" plays on from the match as it stands, from Opono's live feed: its minute, its goals, cards and changes, and the match flow so far. The match must be in play, from 5' to 90+11', half-time included; otherwise not_in_play (409).

What-if

Name the minute and the events so far, in any order. A what-if carries no match flow: Opono Robin plays on from the events alone.

Events take minute, added (after 45 or 90), side and type: goal, missed_penalty, yellow_card, red_card or substitution. A goal's side is the side credited; an own goal (goal_type own_goal) names the other side's player. A substitution names off_id and on_id.

Rules

  • Both sides are team sheets: announced, the default once published, or custom with a listed bench. The events must fit them: a scorer is on the pitch, a substitute comes from the unused bench.
  • In-play runs are private and cost draws / 1,000 credits, like any run. They sell until 3 hours after kick-off, one fixture per request.
  • inputs.in_play and basis.in_play echo the state's minute, score and number of events.
