Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser, so that it can remember things between pages and visits, such as that you are signed in. Your browser’s local storage works in a similar way, and in this policy “cookies” covers both. We use two kinds: strictly necessary cookies, which the site needs to work, and analytics cookies, which we use only if you allow them.

Strictly necessary cookies and storage keep you signed in, protect your account and remember your choices, such as your theme and your cookie preference. The site cannot work properly without them, so they do not need your consent.

When you sign in, sign up or reset your password, our hosting provider’s bot protection checks that a person, not a script, is using the page, and sets its own cookies for that.

When you pay, you go to our payment provider’s checkout pages, where it sets its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud. Its own cookie policy explains how it uses them.

With your permission, we use product analytics to understand how people use Opono and to find errors. This includes session replay, which records how you move around the site, with typed text masked. If you are signed in, this data may be linked to your account. We also measure traffic with a tool that does not use cookies. Analytics runs only if you choose Allow analytics.

When you first visit, choose Allow analytics or Essential only. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; withdrawing consent stops analytics capture. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as sign-in, from working.
